## Description

The Fédération algérienne de football (FAF) is the association that brings together football clubs in Algeria and oversees national competitions and international matches involving the Algerian national team. Its work spans the country’s football structure, from Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 to the Algerian Cup and competitions organized through the national football league. The federation also supports a range of national teams, including the senior men’s side, the A’ and U23 teams, youth teams, the women’s team and the futsal team. Its website provides news, match updates, results, competition information and historical records, including details about former federation presidents and the history of the national championship and Algerian Cup. The FAF also publishes information about referees, international referee appointments and activities at the National Technical Centre in Sidi Moussa. Based at Rue Ahmed Ouaked in Dely Ibrahim, Algiers, the federation communicates through dedicated general, integrity, legal and media contacts. Through these activities, it serves as a central body for organizing and informing the public about Algerian football.
