FAIR, the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers, was established to foster economic cooperation and cultural dialogue between Africa and Asia. Founded in Cairo in September 1964, FAIR emerged from the Bandung Conference's spirit, which sought to counter colonialism and promote collaboration among 29 nations.
