## Description

FairChain Foundation is an organization working to make global supply chains more equitable by returning more production value and profit to countries of origin. It promotes a new economic mindset focused on fairer wealth distribution, inclusive business, and respect for planetary boundaries. Its vision is that businesses can combine competitiveness with social impact, creating value for shareholders, employees, consumers, and supply-chain participants.

The Foundation helps build cross-sector partnerships among businesses, NGOs, and governments to develop shared-value supply chains. Its FairChain methodology combines radical transparency, equal partnerships, and technology to support business models that distribute value more fairly. It also develops impact consortia and turns theories of change into consumer-facing experiences across communication channels.

FairChain’s projects include work with Moyee Coffee to support fair prices and improved incomes for farmers, and The Other Bar, a chocolate initiative developed with Hoja Verde and the United Nations. The Foundation has also built a blockchain platform with project partners to improve transparency in supply chains and value distribution.
