## Description

Fairconditioning is a pioneering Indo-Swiss non-profit initiative focused on sustainable building design and cooling solutions for the Indian context. Committed to mitigating the environmental impacts of excessive air conditioning, Fairconditioning promotes eco-friendly architectural practices through education, capacity building, and pilot programs. The organization aims to reshape the way stakeholders interact with building cooling demands, fostering a sustainable cooling ecosystem.

Their offerings include specialized training programs for architecture and HVAC engineering students and professionals, aimed at integrating sustainability and efficiency into academia and practice. Fairconditioning's projects like the Academic Curricula Integration Project (ACIP) and Thermal Comfort in Informal Communities (ThermIC) reinforce their goal of reducing energy and greenhouse gas emissions associated with artificial cooling systems.

Supported by various governmental and corporate partners, Fairconditioning is at the forefront of driving evidence-based policy changes, making sustainable cooling and energy efficiency a crucial standard in future building designs across India, ultimately benefiting both the environment and society.
