Fair State Co is a cooperatively-owned brewery based in Minnesota, and is the first of its kind in the state and the third in the entire country. Founded by Evan Sallee, Niko Tonks, and Matt Hauck, the idea for the brewery started when the three founders met while playing rugby for rival teams. Their shared passion for brewing beer led them to start homebrewing together and eventually establish Fair State Co.
