## Description

Fairtrade-Schools is an initiative promoting fair trade and sustainable development within educational institutions in Germany. This campaign empowers schools to take active roles in supporting fair trade practices and raises awareness of the impact of consumer choices on global markets. By becoming a Fairtrade-School, institutions not only showcase their commitment to ethical sourcing but also engage students and the community in creative activities focused on sustainability.

Fairtrade-Schools provides various resources and support, including teaching materials, organizing school events, and opportunities for participation in competitions that inspire creativity in promoting fairness. Schools can also participate in activities like the Fairtrade Students’ Academy, which fosters leadership and understanding of fair trade issues among students. With an extensive ideas pool, Fairtrade-Schools inspires innovative projects that highlight the importance of responsible consumer behavior. By championing these values, Fairtrade-Schools aims to cultivate a generation that prioritizes ethical practices and environmental stewardship, leading to a better and more equitable world.
