## Description

FairwayFiles is a free online golf scorecard and game-tracking service provided by Meek Consulting Inc. Since 2001, it has helped golfers record scores, monitor performance, and share their progress with friends. Its color-coded scorecards highlight birdies, pars, bogies, and other results, while statistics cover fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, penalties, and sand shots. Year-over-year reports help users review their progress and identify areas to improve, and the site also offers handicap calculation and course-rating tools.

Golfers can add scores, view their history, compare statistics, and create groups that notify members when friends post rounds. Additional features include real-time leaderboards, match scorecards that show where players receive strokes, multi-day tournament tracking, and tools for organizing events or commenting on scores. An on-course scoring feature includes a GPS rangefinder. Users can find courses, review previously played courses, and access help with handicaps, score entry, and groups. FairwayFiles also offers a companion app, printable handicap cards, and options to invite friends. The service is free to use.
