## Description

The Falcon Day Forum is a premier international platform dedicated to the preservation of falcons and rare bird species, established in response to an initiative by the President of Russia. This forum convenes experts, governmental representatives, and scholars from around the globe to engage in meaningful dialogue on the conservation and reintroduction of these majestic birds, particularly in Russia's Kamchatka region and the Republic of Kalmykia.

Key activities include discussions on effective methods for restoring natural populations and best practices in breeding and rehabilitation centers. The forum also hosts a falcon auction, with proceeds supporting conservation efforts and ecological tourism initiatives. Noteworthy outcomes of the forum include the adoption of a framework declaration by eight countries—such as Russia, China, and Qatar—aimed at safeguarding the gyrfalcon population. With a firm commitment to public engagement, Falcon Day strives to enhance awareness and support for avian conservation efforts while fostering international cooperation in protecting these vulnerable species.
