## Description

Family Heart Foundation is an organization that leads awareness, research, and advocacy efforts for familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)). Their mission is to save generations of families from heart disease by timely identification and improved care of FH and high Lp(a) levels. Their focus is on driving change through research, advocacy, and education to prevent heart attacks and strokes caused by these genetic disorders. With 1 in 250 adults and children worldwide having FH and 1 in 5 having elevated Lp(a), the foundation aims to provide help and hope to those diagnosed with these conditions. By offering resources, support, and information, they empower individuals and families to navigate their own health and make informed decisions. Through partnerships, sponsorship, and funding, the Family Heart Foundation is at the forefront of the fight against heart disease, working towards a world where everyone knows about FH and Lp(a) risks.
