# WW1 Family Letters - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `familyletters.co.uk` ## Description **Brand Description: Family Letters** Family Letters is a poignant project dedicated to preserving the voices of the past through the correspondence of five brothers who fought in the First World War. At the heart of this initiative is a collection of 650 letters inherited by the founder’s mother, initially donated to the Imperial War Museum. The letters, penned by Richard, Jim, Ted, Paul, and Topher, span the confluence of personal experiences and significant historical events, including the Christmas Truce and the Battle of Jutland. The project offers a unique portal to experience history as it unfolds over four years, allowing readers to receive each letter via email or read them online, 100 years after they were written. Accompanied by family photographs and memorabilia, the site honors not only the stories of soldiers but also the unsung contributions of the 1.4 million men from pre-partition India who served alongside them. Family Letters is an evocative tribute to memory, courage, and the enduring impact of familial bonds during tumultuous times. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/familyletters) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/FamilyLetters) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGNhLyQXh/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1740572208516) ## Fonts - Trebuchet MS — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGNhLyQXh/w/1500/h/500/idm_u1f0iB.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1740572208324) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
