## Description

FanDrive is a New Zealand sports-funding platform that connects everyday shopping with support for local teams, organisations, and athletes. Its service helps grassroots and community sports raise money without relying solely on fundraisers such as bake sales or car washes. Sports organisations can create a funding profile, while supporters choose who they want to back and shop through FanDrive’s partner retailers. A percentage of eligible purchases is then automatically directed to the selected sports group, with no extra cost to shoppers.

The retailer network spans categories including groceries, electronics, meal kits, home appliances, flowers, fashion, and sportswear. Featured partners include Mighty Ape, HelloFresh, New World, Smiths City, De’Longhi, Interflora, Cotton On, and PUMA, with contribution rates varying by retailer. Supporters can track their impact and may receive rewards, benefits, and recognition. FanDrive serves a broad range of sports, including rugby, netball, cricket, basketball, hockey, and soccer, and supports both teams and individual athletes.
