FareShare Cymru, established in 2010, is a brand that aims to tackle food waste and hunger in Wales. By partnering with the food industry, they collect quality surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, saving approximately 858 tonnes of food from landfill. This food is then sorted by their team of volunteers and distributed to Community Food Members (CFMs) such as homeless hostels and community centers.

In total, FareShare Cymru's efforts have provided over 3. 5 million meals to vulnerable members of the community, supporting approximately 12,585 people every week. Their work not only addresses hunger but also has a positive impact on the environment by reducing food waste.

By being partnered with FareShare Cymru, CFMs can save money on food costs, which can then be used to fund crucial support services. To achieve all this, FareShare Cymru relies on the dedication and hard work of their team of 80 volunteers each month.
