Farms Close By is a minority-owned Delaware chartered C-Corporation with a mission to increase the availability of organically grown food in communities across America. We are committed to driving agricultural job growth in communities that have never had local farms. Our focus is on food deserts, areas with limited access to fresh and wholesome food. Through our innovative AG Tech solutions, we aim to bring locally grown food directly into these communities, leveraging existing convenience stores and medium-sized box stores. Our micro-farm franchise units, strategically located near or within food desert areas, will incorporate micro grocery store front-ends to provide residents with convenient access to nutritious produce. In addition to addressing the pressing issue of food deserts, Farms Close By is also dedicated to creating employment opportunities in neighborhoods that have been adversely affected by the pandemic.
