The EIP (European Innovation Partnership) project, co-funded by the European Commission and the Irish Government as part of Ireland's Rural Development Programme (RDP), is dedicated to addressing the challenges associated with farm succession. This initiative aims to identify these challenges, determine the necessary support and expertise required, and formulate a comprehensive Successor Development Plan. With a particular emphasis on farm health, safety, and well-being, the project aims to evaluate and support farmers through the decision-making process, ultimately ensuring the smooth transition of farm assets across generations. Through the participation of various stakeholders and the commitment to supporting farmers' mental well-being, this project plays a crucial role in securing the future of farming in Ireland.
