## Description

Far Northern Regional Center (FNRC) is an agency serving people with developmental disabilities and their families across nine Northern California counties: Butte, Shasta, Modoc, Trinity, Glenn, Lassen, Plumas, Tehama, and Siskiyou. Its mission is to partner with individuals so they can make choices about how they live and participate as equal, valued members of their communities. FNRC provides information and support for clients, families, and service providers, including intake inquiries, eligibility guidance, advocacy, appeals and complaints assistance, and early intervention through Early Start. Its services and resources also cover employment, deaf and hard-of-hearing support, special education, language access, self-determination, standardized individual program planning, and long-term support. Providers can access training, forms, eBilling information, job listings, and program guidance. FNRC also shares resources on autism, disability rights, emergency preparedness, food assistance, and Social Security benefits. Its news and community initiatives highlight health and wellness, movement, yoga, mindfulness, employment pathways, and self-advocacy. The organization operates offices in Redding and Chico and offers information in multiple languages.
