## Description

Farnovision is a website dedicated to the history and legacy of Philo T. Farnsworth, the inventor associated with the development of electronic television. Run by author Paul Schatzkin, the site brings together articles, historical commentary, and resources exploring Farnsworth’s work and the origins of video. Its coverage connects television history with science, technology, film, and the people and inventions that shaped the medium.

Farnovision also promotes Schatzkin’s books, including The Boy Who Invented Television, The Farnsworth Chronicles, and Who Invented What – And When, which address Farnsworth’s life, the development of electronic video, and misconceptions about television’s history. The site shares updates about book editions, including an audiobook available through Audible and Amazon, and features podcast and video content. Recent posts examine topics such as the upcoming centennial of television, the significance of September 7, 1927, Farnsworth’s patents, and the historical importance of locations connected to his work. Visitors can browse articles by topic, follow the television centennial countdown, and find links to related content.
