## Description

Convención del Farolillo is a community gathering documented through a website featuring its history, annual celebrations, popular songbook, videos, and highlights from past events. The site presents the convention as a recurring occasion for friends and participants known as farolilleros to come together and share a celebratory evening. Its traditions include the humorous titles “Cabrito Mayor” and “Caballo,” with annual recipients acknowledged in posts about each edition. Recent updates cover the 2024, 2025, and 2026 gatherings, including award announcements, memorable moments, and thanks to the Hostal Fontañan for its hospitality in 2026. The 2024 edition marked a move to a new venue in La Pola de Gordón, following earlier events at the Mesón de Cabornera. Rather than promoting a range of commercial products, the website serves as an information and memories hub for the convention, sharing news, recognition, and cultural material connected with its gatherings. Its welcoming tone reflects an informal tradition built around fellowship, shared stories, and celebration.
