## Description

Faros is a technology company providing a token engineering platform that helps software organizations understand and improve the value of their AI coding investments. Its system connects coding agents, development tools, and engineering data to link token usage with work delivered, such as features shipped and incidents resolved. Faros combines observability, optimization, and governance in a closed-loop platform, using each organization’s code history and engineering outcomes to inform AI decisions.

Its capabilities include tracking token spend and engineering efficiency, routing tasks to suitable models, refining agent context, and enforcing model, budget, and data policies. Faros also offers AI coding ROI measurement, spend visibility and forecasting, token allocation, developer productivity insights, organization-specific benchmarks, and audit trails. These tools are designed to reduce wasted usage, improve output quality, and help teams complete more work while keeping AI adoption within organizational guardrails.

The company serves engineering organizations and features customers including Autodesk, Coursera, and SmartBear. Faros offers a self-service environment to explore, product demonstrations, and consultations with its experts.
