## Description

FARR, the Swedish Refugee Groups’ National Council, is an umbrella organisation for individuals and groups working to strengthen the right to asylum. It advocates for Swedish asylum and refugee policy grounded in humanity, solidarity and due process, and for Sweden to uphold international conventions protecting human rights. FARR brings together member groups and supports cooperation among people seeking to defend these principles.

The organisation provides practical information for asylum seekers, including guidance on the asylum process, detention, and questions about asylum law and practice. Its website also features current legal developments, court decisions, analysis, news, reports, films and information about European asylum policy. Through courses, seminars and resources such as its “Good Advice” materials, FARR aims to inform and support people involved in asylum matters.

FARR also offers ways for the public to contribute, including membership and recurring or one-time donations. Its Tidö information page helps members and others address racism and discrimination, defend the right to asylum, and engage in public debate and advocacy.
