## Description

Farm Animal Rescue and Rehoming Movement (FARRM) is a grassroots animal sanctuary near Wetaskiwin, Alberta, providing care and refuge for abused, neglected, surrendered and unwanted farm animals and cats. Established in 2013 as a safe landing place for abandoned potbelly pigs, FARRM has since expanded to welcome other farm animals. Its work includes rescuing animals in danger, providing shelter and ongoing care, and supporting their wellbeing with nutritious food, medication and enrichment.

FARRM invites the public to help sustain its work through financial donations, monthly sponsorships for individual residents, volunteering, fundraising events and purchases from its online store. In-person volunteer opportunities are currently at capacity, while remote volunteers are still welcome. The store offers animal-themed merchandise and items that can be donated to residents, including photo cards, ceramic mugs and T-shirts. FARRM also hosts events such as the annual Goats N’ Ghouls online auction, with proceeds helping cover veterinary costs.
