## Description

Faschingsclub Helmstadt e. V. is a community carnival association based in Helmstadt, Germany, bringing people together through regional tradition, entertainment and volunteer spirit. Founded in February 1960 by 40 men at the Gasthaus Stern, the club has grown from its first carnival procession into an established part of local cultural life. Its activities include organizing the annual Faschingsumzug, festive sessions, celebrations and community events, as well as taking part in a Faschingsgottesdienst that blends humor with Christian tradition. The club’s performance groups include the Elferratsgarde, Prinzengarde, Juniorenshowtanz, Purzelgarde, Männerballett, Showtanzgruppe Diamonds and Majorettes. These groups bring dance and entertainment to club events and festivities. Faschingsclub Helmstadt also recognizes members’ long-standing dedication, with honors for decades of service, and welcomes residents, visitors and supporters to its celebrations. Its events rely on the involvement of members, local organizations, sponsors and volunteers. Marking 66 years of carnival tradition, the club continues to foster shared experiences and a strong sense of community in Helmstadt.
