## Description

Fastplant Skateboarding is a female-led skateboard coaching business based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Founded around the shared skateboarding passion of coaches Taniah Meyers and Mikayla Senior, Fastplant aims to help the next generation progress both in skating and within the skate industry. Its lessons welcome beginners and experienced riders, from children aged two and up through to adults, and are delivered in a fun, creative and supportive environment.

Fastplant offers group and private coaching. Private lessons help students build confidence and develop their skills at a pace suited to their abilities. The team also works with local councils to run holiday skate sessions in rural and regional Queensland, giving young people opportunities to learn and practise at local parks and streets. Lessons focus on skill progression while encouraging confidence that can extend beyond skateboarding. Parents and community partners praise the coaches for their patience, professionalism and ability to make students feel included.
