## Description

FAVsur is a festival in southern Chile that brings together the arts, ecology, and education to encourage new ways of engaging with the natural world and the places people inhabit. Guided by diversity and wonder as creative principles, the festival shares ideas that raise awareness of ecological challenges and the value of natural heritage. It also aims to build community through the arts and interdisciplinary practices.

The 2026 edition takes place in Puerto Varas from October 22 to 25, with free admission. Its program includes exhibitions, films and short films, a virtual reality zone, dialogues, workshops and educational activities, a visual concert, a video art cycle, mapping, and InFAVcias. Through these experiences, FAVsur creates meeting points between people, nature, and territory, connecting artistic expression with learning and environmental reflection. The festival presents creative processes as opportunities to explore meaningful questions about the world we share. FAVsur also maintains a website and social media presence, including Instagram and YouTube, to share information about its program and activities.
