## Description

FBA (Federação Brasileira de Arena) is a Brazilian competitive NBA 2K Pro-Am and fantasy basketball league, founded in 2021. It brings together players and teams from across the country in a community built around competition, team management, and progression. The league currently features 128 players and 122 active teams across four divisions: Elite, Next, Rise, and Rookie. Its promotion and relegation system gives teams a route from entry-level play to the top tier, where the Elite champion receives a cash prize.

Participants form teams of up to seven players, take on roles such as captain and general manager, and manage rosters through drafts, trades, free agency, and a salary cap. Seasons include regular weekly matchups, followed by best-of-five playoffs for the top eight teams in each division. FBA also provides league news and analysis through its official publication, The Pathetic, and streams competition on Twitch and YouTube. Players can join the waiting list to seek entry into a future season.
