## Description

Franklin Basketball Association (FBA) is a community basketball organisation serving South Auckland and North Waikato, where it has delivered club-based training and competitions for more than 10 years. Its mission is to make basketball opportunities accessible to people of all ages, stages and abilities, guided by the values of respect, togetherness, pride and toughness. FBA works to grow participation, develop player pathways, strengthen local club identity and support a sustainable future for the sport.

The association offers programs for girls and young players, including Girls Got Game, Hoopsters and Junior Development Programs for under-12 and under-14 players, as well as holiday camps. Its competitions include junior and senior club leagues, Mid Week Hoops and Wāhine Toa Hoops, a 3x3 program. FBA also supports senior representative teams and provides opportunities to get involved in coaching, refereeing and events.

FBA connects affiliated clubs across the Franklin region, including teams in Pukekohe, Tuakau, Waiuku, Te Kauwhata and nearby communities. It also partners with local organisations on activities such as multi-sport holiday programs.
