First Baptist Church Murrells Inlet is a vibrant and welcoming community of faith dedicated to serving God and others. Our mission is rooted in three core principles: to glorify God, grow in a relationship with Him and others, and go forth to proclaim the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our services are centered on worship and the study of God's Word.

Journey with us as we explore the Story of Redemption, a three-year study that takes us from the beginning of Scripture in Genesis to the end in Revelation. Through meaningful praise band-led services at 9:30am and 11:00am, we honor and praise God. Established in 1939, First Baptist has been actively ministering to the Murrells Inlet community for over 75 years.

As a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, South Carolina Baptist Convention, and the Waccamaw Baptist Association, our beliefs are grounded in the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message.
