## Description

Fundació Canigó is a nonprofit group of closely connected organisations based in Sarrià, Barcelona. Its shared roots, social commitment and assistance-focused mission centre on supporting people with intellectual disabilities. The group’s work dates back to 1946, when Rosa Batlle began providing care to people with disabilities, and this history continues to shape its activities today.

The Canigó group brings together the foundation, a parents’ association and a sports club. Its services include a laundry operation and Centres Especials de Treball (special employment centres), reflecting a commitment to both practical support and participation in working life. The group also shares news and activities, including community events such as Correm Junts and the Milla de Sarrià.

Based on Avinguda de Vallvidrera in Barcelona, Fundació Canigó serves as a point of contact for people seeking information about its work. Its connected organisations combine assistance, social engagement and opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
