## Description

FCC Communities Foundation is a renowned brand dedicated to funding environmentally-friendly projects that address community needs, bring value for money, and promote sustainability. Established in 1997 as Waste Recycling Environmental, we rebranded as FCC Communities Foundation in April 2019. As a company limited by guarantee and registered in England, we receive funding exclusively from the landfill activities of FCC Environment, our donor landfill operator. Under the Landfill Communities Fund and the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund, we support eligible projects that benefit the natural, social, or built environment, making a positive impact on local communities. Our Board, consisting of dedicated members, meets regularly to review and approve applications in line with our funding and operational policies. FCC Environment, part of global infrastructure, environmental services, and energy group FCC Citizen Services, is a leading waste and resource management company in the UK. They focus on transforming waste into valuable resources and operate various waste management sites across the country. We work closely with regulators such as ENTRUST and SEPA to ensure compliance with regulations and maximize the effectiveness of our funding. If you have a project that aligns with our mission, we encourage you to apply for a grant through our website.
