Animal Friends Alliance is a non-profit organization that emerged in January 2020 from the union of Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue & Grooming. With a mission to prevent homelessness and promote the human-animal bond, Animal Friends Alliance provides comprehensive companion animal resources, services, and education to the community. They are a limited admission, adoption guarantee shelter for cats and dogs, ensuring that every animal they take in will stay with them until they find a good home.

Their services include subsidized spay/neuter, preventative health care, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, feline viral testing, microchipping, and financial assistance for spay/neuter. They also offer a Kibble Supply Pet Food Pantry for families facing financial hardship, along with behavior resources and trap rentals for community cat programs. Animal Friends Alliance operates solely on donations and grants and receives no government funding.
