## Description

The Federação Cearense de Desportos Aquáticos (FCDA) is the official organization promoting, organizing, and developing aquatic sports across Ceará, Brazil. Founded on June 6, 1958, it is affiliated with the Brazilian Aquatic Sports Confederation and supports athletes, clubs, coaches, and officials throughout the state.

The FCDA oversees six sports: swimming, open-water swimming, para swimming, water polo, artistic swimming, and diving. It organizes an official competition calendar, including state championships, swimming meets, and open-water events, and publishes athlete and club rankings, Ceará records, event regulations, and registration information. Its website also features news, competition results, and resources for affiliated clubs and participants.

Beyond competitions, the federation offers courses and professional development for coaches, referees, and physical trainers. Clubs can find guidance on official affiliation, while athletes and sports organizations can access event systems and federation services. The FCDA also provides transparency resources, including official bulletins, meeting minutes, financial reports, and athlete listings, alongside anti-doping information and guidance.
