## Description

Freediving Coaches of Asia (FCOA) is a nonprofit organization focused on making diving and water-safety education accessible. Its mission is to teach people how to survive at sea, encourage care for the ocean through freediving, and prepare coaches to pass their skills on to family and friends. FCOA presents itself as a stepping stone into the diving industry, offering pathways to become a certified swimmer, freediver, coach, or instructor.

The organization provides digital training, certification, coach development, and remote verification training through its online member platform. It states that it charges no certification fees and invites supporters to donate to its mission. The website also features information about affiliates, national records, and troubleshooting, alongside member account services. FCOA Philippines Inc. is registered as a nonprofit with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission, while its Indian chapter is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as the Asian Freediving Pioneers Association. Member support is available through WhatsApp, Instagram, email, Facebook, and YouTube.
