The Franklin County Prevention Coalition is a community coalition dedicated to reducing youth substance abuse and violence in Franklin County. They bring together individuals and organizations to create environmental change and promote education and prevention strategies. The coalition hosts a variety of programs and events to engage the community, such as NERF WAR with Law Enforcement, Summer Friday Nights at the Rain, and Pool Parties at the Swimplex.

These activities provide Middle and High School Students, including incoming 6th graders, with opportunities for fun and safe experiences. In addition, the coalition offers resources and support for those struggling with addiction or in need of mental health services. They collaborate with community partners like the Franklin County School District and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure comprehensive care and prevention efforts.
