## Description

**Facepunch Studios** is an independent game development studio based in Birmingham, UK, renowned for creating some of the most memorable titles on Steam. Established in 2004, Facepunch garnered attention with the innovative physics sandbox game **Garry’s Mod**, which was one of the first indie hits on the platform. Following this success, they launched the survival game **Rust** in 2013, which has captivated millions of players with its intense gameplay centered around survival in a hostile world. The studio further expanded its portfolio with **Chippy**, a bullet-hell shooter that pits players against destructible bosses in a pixelated landscape. Currently, they are developing **S&box**, a next-generation iteration of Garry's Mod that promises to push creative boundaries beyond its predecessor. With a player-centric approach and a commitment to community engagement, Facepunch Studios maintains a collaborative work environment and has sold over 38.6 million games, solidifying its place in the gaming industry.
