## Description

The Football Cooperative St. Pauli von 2024 eG represents a groundbreaking initiative in professional football, uniquely combining sports with community engagement and financial independence. As the first cooperative in professional football, it aims to foster a member-driven model, where every member has an equal voice—one member, one vote—regardless of their financial contribution. This democratic approach stands in stark contrast to traditional models dominated by wealthy investors and corporations.

The cooperative seeks to secure the majority ownership of the iconic Millerntorstadion, enabling investments into essential infrastructure for both professional and youth teams. By prioritizing member investments over external funding, FC St. Pauli aims to preserve its core values while achieving long-term financial sustainability.

Members not only participate in decisions affecting the cooperative's management but also have opportunities for potential profit-sharing based on the cooperative's success. Embracing a vision of community-oriented football, the Football Cooperative St. Pauli is pioneering a more equitable and transparent approach to the sport, showing that another football is possible.
