## Description

FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) is a brand dedicated to improving safety and saving lives through the proper understanding and inspection of fire doors. Launched in 2012 as a collaboration between the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI), FDIS aims to educate individuals about the importance of fire doors and the potential dangers associated with incorrect installations. FDIS offers various products and services to achieve its mission. Their online education programme provides a comprehensive knowledge base on fire doors, accessible to anyone interested in learning more. The FDIS Diploma in Fire Doors is a series of modules designed to expand knowledge on fire door requirements in workplaces, commercial buildings, public premises, and multi-occupied residential buildings. Upon completion of the diploma and passing the final examination, individuals can apply to become an FDIS Certificated Fire Door Inspector. To find an approved FDIS fire door inspector in your area or verify an inspector's details, you can search their directory. FDIS is committed to raising awareness about fire door safety and ensuring that inspections are carried out effectively. Stay informed about their latest news and updates on their website.
