FDN (French Data Network) is an associative Internet service provider. Established in June 1992, it is the oldest active ISP in France. Operating on a purely voluntary and non-profit basis, the association currently provides several hundred ADSL lines and VPN services throughout the country.

Our approach is driven by activism. As a non-profit organization under French law, FDN brings together over 800 members who share the aim of offering neutral Internet access, in line with a certain ethical framework. Recognizing the political and societal implications of introducing the Internet into our lives, societies, and political systems, FDN supports and participates in various citizen initiatives related to fundamental liberties, particularly in the digital domain.

More than just a network, FDN is a community. It is the founding member of the Federation of Associative Internet Service Providers (FFDN) and actively participates in its collective management as well as in the discussions and actions related to it, such as digital infrastructure development, access to FTTH networks, and net neutrality. The federation currently brings together over 30 access providers, primarily serving a community-oriented approach to internet access
