## Description

Fareham & District Society of Model Engineers (FDSME) is a model engineering society based in Fareham, Hampshire, England. Its “Model Engineering Excellence Since 1970” identity reflects its long-standing interest in miniature engineering and related hobbies. The society brings together activities spanning railways, boating, radio-controlled vehicles and miniature road steam.

Its facilities include a miniature railway with 7¼-inch ground-level track and raised 5-inch and 3½-inch tracks, as well as an extensive 16mm garden railway layout. Visitors and members can also enjoy radio-control boating on the society’s on-site pond, alongside rock crawling with radio-controlled 4×4 off-road vehicles. Road steam enthusiasts can explore miniature steam traction engines and road-going vehicles.

FDSME shares announcements about society activities and events, including results from the 2025 IMLEC, and provides information about community open weekends and guest visits. Located on Segensworth Road East, near Titchfield Abbey, the society welcomes people interested in learning more about its work and activities. FDSME is a UK limited company registered as number 03042680.
