## Description

The Galician Federation of Underwater Activities (FEGAS) supports and coordinates underwater sports and related activities in Galicia, Spain. Its website provides information and services for affiliated clubs, diving schools, and federated members, including federative and competition licences, an online management platform, and a sports calendar. The federation covers a broad range of disciplines: scuba diving, apnea, underwater fishing, underwater photography and video, fin swimming, underwater archaeology, and adapted diving. It also publishes information on diving qualifications, instructor and technical titles, specialist training, regulations, standards, and diving schools.

FEGAS shares practical guidance, including advice on the legal steps to take when underwater activities reveal archaeological remains. Its news and events section features competitions such as the Galician underwater fishing championships, while its site also provides access to federation governance information, statutes, legislation, and transparency documents. Based in A Coruña, FEGAS offers contact channels and a newsletter for updates. Through these resources, it connects participants and clubs with information, administration, training, and competitive opportunities across underwater sports.
