## Description

Feministische Medizin e.V. is a Berlin-based association bringing together intersectional feminist professionals and researchers working in healthcare. It aims to contribute to fairer healthcare by examining how gender, power and other social structures shape medical research, practice and patient experiences. The association shares its perspectives through public events, talks, publications and campaigns, and creates opportunities for exchange among people working in and engaging with health services.

Its work addresses topics including abortion, medical bias and medical gaslighting, as well as the experiences of bodies and patients that may be misunderstood or overlooked. Recent initiatives include a campaign to raise awareness of medical gaslighting and an anti-sexism workshop for healthcare professionals, focused on recognising and responding to sexism. The organisation also presents feminist approaches to healthcare at universities and public forums.

Feministische Medizin e.V. invites people to learn about its work, connect with its networks, and participate as members or supporting members. It also welcomes donations and offers contact opportunities for questions, feedback and collaboration.
