## Description

Future Education Modena (FEM) is an Italian education and EdTech hub founded in 2019 to turn research on learning into practical technologies, teaching models, and training experiences. Its work brings together applied research, learning design, professional development, and technology testing, with an emphasis on measuring how educational solutions perform in real settings.

FEM collaborates with universities, research centres, schools, public bodies, and international partners. It designs original learning content and scalable teaching formats, and provides tailored programmes for schools, businesses, educators, and other learning professionals. Its Academy offers more than 350 training formats, including courses available asynchronously. Through its EdTech validation framework and network of educational institutions and researchers, FEM tests innovative learning technologies in the field. It also develops educational technology products and startups.

The organisation supports local learning ecosystems, team training, teacher development, and EdTech ventures. Its research spans cognitive science, inclusive learning, game-based learning, sustainability, computational thinking, mathematics, linguistics, and digital humanities.
