In 2019, Female Voices Rock launched a groundbreaking film festival, aiming to bring attention to the underrepresentation of women in key roles within the film industry.

Through this festival, we shine a spotlight on the inspiring work of women directors, writers, producers, editors, and cinematographers, giving them the recognition they deserve. We also prioritize the inclusion of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized voices that have been historically overlooked. By providing educational programs, workshops, webinars, and networking events, we ensure that filmmakers have the resources and support they need to thrive.

We strongly encourage filmmakers to connect, share their stories, and submit their work to our annual Female Voices Rock Film Festival. We understand the financial challenges that can hinder participation, which is why we offer application waivers and financial assistance. At Female Voices Rock, we believe it is our responsibility to spark positive change and amplify the voices that have been silenced for far too long.
