## Description

**Brand Description for Femicide Census**

Femicide Census is a pivotal organization dedicated to addressing the critical issue of gender-based violence in the UK. By providing a comprehensive data repository, the Femicide Census meticulously documents the profiles of women killed by men, revealing troubling trends and patterns behind these tragic events. Established as a response to the lack of connected research in the UK and Europe, the Census has been operational since 2009, gathering detailed information that encapsulates demographics, social factors, and methods of violence.

Their reports, such as the annual Femicide Census report, reveal alarming statistics, like the 147 women killed by men in 2021, with a significant proportion of these fatalities linked to current or former intimate partners. Femicide Census aims to raise awareness and drive policy reform, emphasizing that no woman should fall victim to repeated patterns of violence. Donations play a crucial role in sustaining their vital efforts toward change. Through advocacy and education, the Femicide Census seeks to foster societal understanding and ultimately combat femicide.
