## Description

Feminist Press is a nonprofit publisher dedicated to books that ignite movements and support social transformation. Describing itself as “lit since 1970,” the organization publishes boundary-breaking feminist literature across a wide range of subjects and forms. Its catalog includes novels, memoir and biography, gender studies, LGBTQ+ writing, translated literature, and titles from its Amethyst Editions imprint. Readers can explore new releases, forthcoming books, award winners, and themed selections, with works by authors from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Beyond its book publishing program, Feminist Press produces WSQ, a publication with its own editors, board, subscription options, and calls for papers. The organization also shares news and events, including its Feminist Press Presents series, created with Roxane Gay. Its website offers information about the press, staff, board of directors, and apprenticeship opportunities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Feminist Press relies on donor contributions to sustain its publishing work and invites readers to support its mission.
