## Description

Fenchurch Power Nigeria Limited is a subsidiary of Fenchurch Group, focused on developing and operating power infrastructure in Nigeria. The company began its power-sector work in 2007, constructing a 2×15 MVA injection substation in Ilesha, Osun State. Its portfolio includes independent power plants and electricity distribution networks designed to serve government facilities, businesses, and communities.

Fenchurch Power’s services include independent power plant development, plant operations and maintenance, distribution-network construction and maintenance, switchgear installation, and procurement and installation of power equipment. It also lists renewable and solar energy projects among its service areas. Its projects include gas-fired plants in Asaba and Owa Alero, Delta State, and Ekiti State, alongside underground distribution networks in Asaba and Ado-Ekiti. These networks connect power generation to residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector customers.

The company states a vision of becoming Africa’s independent power provider of choice. It also plans to expand the capacity under its management and explore supplying power to agro-processing sectors, contributing to broader energy access and economic development.
