## Description

Ferme du Sillon II is a family-operated farm in Saint-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, in Quebec’s Bas-Saint-Laurent region. The Marquis family has worked the family farm for six generations, and Marie-Christine Fortin and Olivier Marquis have owned its dairy herd since 2017. The farm specializes in Jersey cattle, selecting and developing animals for strong conformation and production, along with ease of management and functionality. Its herd includes animals recognized at EX, TB/VG and BP/GP classification levels, with an average score of 87.8 points. For breeders and other interested buyers, Ferme du Sillon II offers a catalogue of embryos featuring its different cattle lines and invites inquiries about available opportunities. The farm also operates Le Sillon des Saveurs, offering market-garden produce and processed products made directly on the farm. Visitors can follow farm news on Facebook and access the farm’s online auction site. Together, its dairy breeding activities and farm-produced foods reflect a family business rooted in local agriculture and a long-standing farming tradition.
