## Description

The Rwandese Federation of Association Football, known as FERWAFA, is a non-profit organization established in 1972, serving as the sole governing body for football in Rwanda. Recognized by FIFA and CAF, FERWAFA is committed to the development and organization of football competitions nationwide. Their mission is to enhance the game at all levels, contributing to the physical and moral self-fulfillment of the Rwandan population, particularly the youth. FERWAFA oversees various leagues and tournaments, ensuring adherence to FIFA’s refereeing rules to maintain the integrity of the sport.

Under their motto "Unity, Discipline, and Victory," FERWAFA aims to elevate Rwanda's FIFA and CAF rankings through participation in international competitions and training programs in areas such as coaching and sports medicine. The national teams, including those for women and youth, represent Rwanda with pride. Despite challenges on the global stage, the federation continues to promote grassroots football, focusing on inclusivity and competition across all age groups.
