## Description

Festi’Mômes is a cultural and family event organized by the Festi’Mômes Association in Marnay, Haute-Saône, France. Created in 2003 by volunteers from the local toy library, the festival was developed with support from local authorities and neighboring communities. It is designed for children aged 3 to 12 and invites families to enjoy creative, educational and playful activities together.

The event has featured live performances, roaming entertainment, themed play areas and hands-on workshops. Activities have included arts and crafts, painting, music, theatre, dance, storytelling, reading, magic and balloon sculpting, alongside sports discoveries such as judo and climbing. A space for young children and quieter areas for play and reading have also been offered. Workshops are led by festival volunteers and visiting artists or organizations, with an emphasis on exploration and creativity rather than formal instruction.

Traditionally held on the last Sunday of August at Le Paquey in Marnay, the festival has charged admission for children, while parents entered free. The association’s website states that Festi’Mômes is taking a break.
