## Description

Fest’Is is a biennial festival of bandas and street music held in Is-sur-Tille, France. Created to bring people together through lively brass music and a welcoming, celebratory atmosphere, the festival fills the town’s streets with performances by bandas and other music groups. Its weekend programme combines energetic live music with a convivial spirit inspired by the traditional fête de la bière, inviting visitors to dance, sing and share the occasion.

The festival presents a varied lineup of ensembles, including brass bands, bandas and a batucada. Artists listed for its 2026 programme include 3615 Brass Band, Band’Arrêt d’Urgence, Banda’Stické, FAO (Fanf’A l’Ouest), La ORDE, Les Boules de Feu, Los Cumbancheros, Les Tontons Bringueurs Orchestra, Mango Coco, Ze Tribu Brass Band, La Banda Passifort and BatucaDawa. Fest’Is also provides information about its programme and practical arrangements, introduces participating musicians, and invites people to volunteer. Hosted at the Esplanade des Capucins in Is-sur-Tille, the festival is scheduled to return in May 2028, continuing its celebration of music, community and shared festivities.
