## Description

Entre Vents et Marais is a traveling chamber music festival bringing classical music to the Brouage marshlands in Charente-Maritime, France. Launched in 2019 by young professional musicians with regional roots, the festival combines live performance with opportunities to discover the area’s natural landscapes and local heritage. Concerts take place in distinctive locations around the region, creating a musical journey through its history and culture.

The festival presents chamber music performances by invited artists from the local area and across France, with more than 20 musicians having appeared in previous editions. Its varied concert offerings are intended to make the experience accessible to a broad audience. Alongside concerts, the program can include artist residencies and discovery workshops, including activities for young children. The festival also works with local communities, associations, tourism offices, and private partners to deliver its events. Its eighth edition is scheduled for July 11–19, 2026, with a separate concert announced for July 10 at the port of Chaillevette.
