## Description

Le Feu Au Lac is a community festival based in Vern-sur-Seiche, France, created in 2006 as a musical celebration of the traditional Saint John’s Day festivities. Its first edition was organised by the local Comité des Fêtes and Acrorock, and the event has since brought residents and visitors together through live entertainment and local participation.

The festival’s programme features concerts, activities for different audiences, food and drink, and the traditional Saint John’s bonfire. Past line-ups and events have included established performers such as Soldat Louis, emerging young musicians from the SUET music and dance school, and street artists, including a fire-breathing dragon act. The festival also offers opportunities for people to get involved as volunteers and works with partners to support its events.

For its 2023 edition, the organisers announced a change of format, moving the festivities into Vern-sur-Seiche’s town centre for a day and evening of entertainment on 24 June.
